Include your WebLimit version, Chrome version, what you expected and what happened. Share a website domain only if needed. Do not send passwords, payment details, private page contents, or an exported browsing history.
Something closed unexpectedly?
Pause protection in the extension menu or disable the affected website in Block list. Save important work before timing a website. For unexpected tab closure, check whether the chosen time plus the 3-minute grace period had elapsed. Chrome’s history can sometimes reopen a closed tab, but unsaved work may not be recoverable.
Timers or prompts are missing?
Complete the installed extension’s first-run setup, make sure protection is on and the site is enabled, and reload the page. Chrome internal pages and the Chrome Web Store are unsupported. After updating an unpacked copy, reload it in chrome://extensions and reload open webpages. Timers may run late after sleep or when Chrome is busy.
Your data
Clear completed visits from Activity or reset local data in Settings. Public website preview preferences are separate; remove them through your browser’s site-data controls. See the Privacy Policy for retention and rights.
